Genoa International Poetry Festival
Palazzo Ducale The real center of the festival is the ancient head office of the city Government in the heart of Genoa. The most distinctive imprint is of Andrea Cerisola called the Vannone, one of the big architects of the Manneristic Genoa. In the prestigious historical environment take place art shows, a commercial center, a coffee house and a restaurant: meetings, concerts, conferences take place in the medieval rooms under the square and in the noble floor, where you get charmed by the beauty of the Doge's apartment and of the two halls of the Maggiore e Minore Consiglio. |
teatro della Corte The modern center of the historic stable teather of Genoa houses the festival for the events which require a more self-contained environment or theatre settings not allowed in the courtyard of Palazzo Ducale.The theater is in via E.F.
